ENEMY

March 2016, Gallery SWEATER, Ekaterinburg

The enemy may have any number of guises, but the status remains unchanged. With this work, we literally plunged into the origins of hostility and reproduced the etymology of the word “ENEMY” by punching, one after the other, holes in a single sheet of tin. Enemies do not appear from nowhere. True enmity cannot be the result of information propaganda, it is the result of direct interaction, aggression and violation of the original integrity. The enemy is created by personal effort and is not a potential threat, but a consequence of injury.
